Critical Care Network: Kent & Medway Critical Care Network

A nurse led follow up service was established in 2005. We see patients
who have been in ITU for greater than 3 days at about 2 months post
discharge, at six months and if neccessary at 12 months. Patients and
their families can also self refer to follow up. 

Clinics are run on average 3 times a months. 
First consulations last about 1 hour and subsequent ones 30 minutes.
